Certainly the first time anybody has been dumb enough to make such a statement out loud. I was relieved to see your comments on the Barrons' article I was beginning to wonder.

As for the rest of it only time will tell whether it is the media that are asleep or not. It's my bet that even derivatives move in the same way as the parent, i.e. mysteriously.

Only because the CBs held down the POG...otherwise the POG would have started to move at least 6 months before interest rates started to move up earlier this summer.
Oh well, just a thought...
