""There are more than 20 million analog TVs sold in the U.S. each year, and the M-DTV module will allow manufacturers to leverage their experience in analog TV, as well as offer a digital TV at an attractive price," Stokes said."

The number is near 30 million. Now, with the M-DTV module installed in say 10 million of the analog TVs in the year 2000, Zenith stands to earn $50 million in 8-VSB royalties. Add another 5 million sales for DTVs and PCs, and Zenith could earn an additional $25 million in royaties. This doesn't even count its turner royalties which should well exceed $25 million in 2000.

I hope that Judge Walrath realizes that LGE's wanting her to rush to judgment is a calculated effort to hide the real value of Zenith.
