Walt, Going with "what they aren't expecting" your scenario has a lot of merit. One issue: perhaps the recent dollar decline has already "priced in" a NO RATE INCREASE. Dave

Walt Deemer: My technicals agree with that scenario. So far, my technicals have been primarily right, then the "public" assignment of news to justify the event is assigned. I will be unable to watch the Market unfold over the next few days. My last contribution yesterday was a cautionary post. Wrong or right, I wanted to put it out their for those that read this thread, but do not post and may not be as sophisticated investor as many that populate this thread. NOTE: Since I will not be posting much, if at all, over the next few days, if my expectation for the overall market is wrong, I will not be able to publicly reverse my position if necessary.
