The fact that qcom is down this am makes it clear that Wall Street understands so very little about this company. The merger of Fon is imminent, which will spread and strengthen cdma's grip, and Q is Down. That is unbelievable, and a great sign that so little of the future is factored in here. If Wall Street "got it" qcom would be trading at 70-100x next years e(350-500).

That said, Kearney Advisers announces a Strong Buy rating on the Q with a 1 year price target of 400.<G>

DDI/JAPAN TELECOM/VODAFONE BUY NISSAN?S TU-KA STAKETOKYO - DDI Corp has acquired the stake held by Nissan Motor Co in three Tu-Ka cellular phone firms, completing a deal that was announced in August. Japan Telecom Co and a member of the Vodafone Airtouch Plc group also bought most of Nissan?s stake in six Digital Tu-Ka telephone firms. With the acquisition, DDI now has a 53.2 per cent stake in Tu-Ka Cellular Tokyo Inc, 53.7 per cent in Tu-Ka Cellular Tokai Co and 51.5 per cent stake in Tu-Ka Phone Kansai Inc after acquiring shares from Hitachi and Kobe Steel in the Kansai firm.
