Jock -
Even most lawyers can do better logical thinking than this - or are you resorting to non sequitur and ad hominum because your basic assertions have fallen apart? I assume that's one of the tricks they teach you in law school.

What does the creation of a new product line or business to replace declining growth in an existing segment have to do with supply and demand? NOTHING!!

Your "basic explanation of supply and demand" is kindergarten stuff, but you have yet to tie any of your statements to anything that's actually happening in the business with real data, as I have.

You may think that the various posters responding on this thread, including myself, are a bunch of goofs. Few think of me as a goof, but you're welcome to your opinion. Name calling is not likely to sway anyone's opinion of your preposterous assumptions. Does that work in the legal profession?

Jock I give up. You are wedded to your simplistic notion of supply and demand and nobody, certainly not me, is going to pry your death grip fingers from clinging to that which you believe to be true. good luck and happy trails.
