Agree 100% defense wins the big close games. I mean how many times can instant replay save a team during the year, would have to believe the rabbit foot would have to run out sometime and defense would have to step up or step out.

The Skins D has a lot of talent, and should get much better in time.

Offense will get you to the playoffs, but defense wins the championship.

I don't like this dogma. Some great teams revolve around their offense, while some revolve around their D. Looking at the Broncos of the past 2 years, their defense decidedly took the back seat to their offense. The same is true with the Packers before them. In fact, last year's Final 4 (ATL, MIN, DEN, and NYJ) all were characterized more by great offense than great defense. I can think of countless teams that had great defenses, but lost early in the playoffs because they couldn't score.
