I don't have any set entry protocol, but I would only enter a trade in an issue that I have done my DD on, technically, which includes both Stoch. signals, and knowing where support and resistance are through trendlines and chart patterns. I usually print off a chart and then mark it all up with a ruler and pencil. That way I know before getting in where I will bail if the trade goes against me, and what my profit target is.

I also avoid buying/selling into gaps. Gaps nearly always fill, so it is best to wait for a better price (unless the gap is in your favor...in which case I might want to re-evaluate the trade).

PS: thanks for the call on MACR. It is now up over $1 over entry! I've moved my stop to 39.5.

In this crazy market, though I may just close the trade at EOD.
