Doesn't "rus" mean red, a reference to many of their hair color?

Kosovo, Indonesia, Chechnya : and year is not over yet.
Do we have a trend in the increase of mass killings?
I do not even count Africa where massacres are part of everyday life

Yaccov,

As I understand it, the Celts were all over Europe before
the arrival of the Germanic tribes (Saxons, Angles, Jutes
etc) but that they were blown away across the continent
and exsisted mostly in just the British Isles by the time
of the Romans. The Romans delivered the knockout blow
to the Celts about the time of Queen Boudicca. It is
believed that the genetic remnants of the Celts exsist
in the Welsh and Scots. The most interesting thing about
all this stuff is that the genetic diversity of so called
"caucasian" people is tremendous given the migrations of
the different tribes and such. There really is no such
thing as "pure" gene pools of Caucasian people in Europe.
