Wrong. Reagan said that much earlier, while he was governor. That was in response to demands that the state spend taxpayers' money on faddish and irrelevant disciplines, not science or classical liberal arts, which Reagan embraced with increased funding.

Boy, is Bidstrup an idiot. Well, at least he recognizes that liberalism cannot be defended intellectually.
