TO LONGS

As noted previously, NTBK is on their 4th server upgrade. Should be completed in a week or so.

This change will be a major improvement as they are going from real-time (you're actually logging on to the main frame) to an Oracle data base which will be continuously updated.

This should do wonders for speed.

I'm obviously not a gear head but my post # 2217 may provide some useful information.

Regards & Good Luck!

>>>I opened an account with NTBK 3 months ago. Everything seemed to be OK with me with all the names spelled right. The only problem I am having now is the system is so slow. Their telephone line is OK, but the WEB is terribly slow.

I opened up an account with them about 15 months ago...the system is slow...but I think it has something to do with USERS? ie..if you buggers would stop signing up for service I'd get some.

Called them the other day after 3 trip login failure and I knew the routine...get a customer service rep and get reset...took 5 minutes...I was expecting an hour wait. Was I surprised...YES.

Don't get me wrong I like immediate answers to my money questions...but I figured it out...they ain't stealing it? I gave them a little slack, and got 4 times the interest I normally get. Saved probably $10,000 in brokerage commisions since then....I can live with it.

However, I do use Quicken as my front end...on line transactions powered by CheckFree. The best in the Business IMO....that makes it work for me.
