This is far more interesting for your thinphone. It lets you maintain the number memory in your computer offline, rearrange it and then download it again. Great for travel. When you go to a particular city, keep the first 30 as your personal numbers and the last 60 with all the pertinent numbers for that city (clients, golf courses, hotels, airlines, restaurants, etc. Used to have my Sec load mine up for me as part of travel prep.).

Then if you have the phone wiht you and you have something like Sprint, you can use the cable to hook it up to your laptop as a wireless modem. Works great, since the PPP drivers are already in usoft windows. PC thinks it is just another hayes AT modem hooked up to it.
