There might be. It was just reported on CNBC that QWST is now considered a takeover play. I mentioned that before I just watched and saw that comment.

Other than that, holding since from IPO and seeing the changes occur....sure, academic is a fine call. No problem with the proverbial "JMHO".

This stock has done nothing but go down since USW was announced. Today, we're up over 8% on someone else's takeover. Doesn't that make a few connections for you as to why? It did for me.

I am pretty sure about not seing 90 though. However, that's just an opinion, too. <G>.

09:50 ET Worldcom/Sprint Fallout : --Update-- Qwest Communications (QWST +1 1/16) is another beneficiary this morning, as it has long been rumored as a BellSouth (BLS) takeover target; BLS losing Sprint seen as keeping this possibility alive.
