Doesn't seem GMST paid too big a premium for TVGIA. Now, a few hours after deal announced, TVGIA is still trading below it's 52 week high. So we got TVGIA, settled all suits favorably of course, and got monopoly situation, all for less than TVGIA was trading at in recent past. On the surface, it seems like a good deal to me. Market reaction is probably just arbitrage related, and some "buy the rumour sell the news" action.
