Javits Center Report:

There indeed were 40,000 executives at the Javits World Internet Conference today. The first seminar I attended featured Jonathan Buckley - C E O of Barnes and Noble. Mr. Buckley stated that the fear of credit card security was one of the prime reasons people are afraid to buy on line. After his speech, he had a question and answer session with about 400 of us in the room. My hand shot up and finally I was able to clarion to all that eConnect offers such encryption that will provide the consumer with a Safe Transaction. He asked me for my card (It didn't hurt in his estimation that I was an English teacher for 32 years - in fact all his analogies, obviously, were from titles of books;-) and said he would pass my card on to his tech people. I certainly hope he will do this, but the nice part was that people are now associating me (and eConnect) with the concept of encryption! I'll be back there tomorrow for more of the same. I've already reported the above to Tom and Harry - just wanted to let you all know it went very well, THANK GOD!!

Manny

As an investor, what is interesting about MRTO vs. ECNC is the stock price.
With just 2 news releases (I could find), their stock is running at 3.3$ (up from 1.5$ last week) vs. our .15.

Good news is that if they can do it, so can we. Bad news, if our products are so great and we are so much better than MRTO, why aren't we up there.
IMO, we lack a clear and SIMPLE business plan. It's too all encompassing and complex for people to understand. Adding to this the sudden changes of focus (like from gambling to auctioning all of a sudden), I believe this worries investors and makes them look elsewhere to put their money.

Just trying to get some discussion going here. Anybody interested? Question always why are they up there and we are not?

Mario.
