The Nokia 8210 celebrates the symphony of colors and style, youth and self-expression. The phone offers trendy personalization options with up to seven different stylish Xpress-on (TM) colored covers. Weighing 79 g, the Nokia 8210 is the lightest in Nokia's extensive range of innovative mobile phones. The Nokia 8210 is adorned with exciting details and appealing functions, all adding up to make it a perfect companion for both business and leisure. Personalization also comes in the form of ringing tones. There are 40 ringing tones in the Nokia 8210, five of which are user downloadable. The Nokia 8210 supports all major European and Asian languages, including Chinese. The infrared port can be used for data connection with an IR-compatible PC and printer, as well as for exchanging phonebook information and messages between Nokia phones. Voice dialing enables users to store up to eight voice tags in the phone memory and a call can be activated with just one key press and saying the pre-recorded name. The Nokia 8210 also supports predictive text input, which enables users to type messages with greater speed and convenience. The Picture Messaging feature in the phone allows users to send graphical icons attached to a short message - adding a touch of fun and visual appeal to personal messages. The Nokia 8210 comes with a set of default pictures that can be sent to another Nokia 8210, Nokia 3210 or Nokia 8850. More pictures can be downloaded or designed at the Nokia website. The Nokia 8210 is a dual band GSM 900/1800 phone, which also supports the extended GSM bandwidth, the EGSM band. All of these provide added convenience when you travel to high-traffic network areas. The phone has a talk time of up to 3 hours 20 minutes and a standby time of up to 150 hours with its semi-fixed Li-Ion battery.
