Dear Len,
Besides what is said here Israel is very much a Democratic State. Their are Christian shrines as well as Muslim etc. The identity there is more of ethnicity than religion. IMO the Palestinian issue is very much like the American Indian issue. As always when we judge others we are usually guilty of the same thing.

Well if my grandmother was typical, I would say the Jewish "state" is one of guilt and indigestion:-)

I think all people should be free to pursue their beliefs without condemnation or restriction regardless if they are Jew, Christian, Arab, African, Asian, or whatever......
