taxman, Do you even hold stock? <ggg>
That is a long October options list. A list like that (although very diversified) would make my head spin. I would find it hard to keep track of what is going on. I tend to take very aggressive options positions on 2 to 3 stocks at a time and hold the balance in stocks and mutual funds. I rarely do covered calls OR even sell naked calls or puts. I tend to make bets on one direction and not bother with any kind of hedging. Kinda like going for home runs and not batting for singles.
I am playing primarily JDSU, followed by some AOL/INTC/MSFT. For the most part i am going with November or January calls.
I still have some Octobers and plan to add a bit more (of the speculative kind one week before expiration-(hold Intel 80s) depending upon my gut feeling on the stocks after watching the next couple of days.

Good luck with your options.

taxman, Any ideas how the Micron earnings could influence trading in other related stocks. I am just hoping for some bounce in Intel simply because it gets grouped with the semis.
