Now that the Fed meeting is history we can focus on the quarter. My guess is they will meet the consensus number or we would have heard more noise by now. Only ML had anything to say to cause concern but that was more revenue oriented. ML's comments may not be too far off - make earnings but concern over "quality". This is going to be a tough period for many technology companies going into Y2K. A diversified portfolio of businesses will pay big dividends over the next few quarters.
