...whereas today was, obviously biased...

ask or above...164,700

TA (fwiw) has turned up. DMIs have met and and are ready to cross positive, MACD making another fresh upturn. Oscillaotrs have broken thru the downtrend started off the $4.50 top in May, with bottoms showing consistently higher. The underlying trend has reversed.

Volume is back, which of itself is very encouraging. There hasn't been as wide a daily trading range since July, and more importantly, a day where the price has advanced and held, since well before that. While I watched some late afternoon sales around 1 13/16, it was nice to see the bid hold. Usually, any consistent selling volume has given the MMs cause to drop the spread. The support and willingness to hold the price higher indicates a stronger interest than before.

Rolled into all this, one can't ignore the blatant crossing, and outright weird trading prior to today. Tomorrow will tell, but my gut says things are about to break...my next mark is around 2 1/16 - 2 1/8 for a pause. For anyone that was around in May, check the run from 10-17 May. I remember early spurts, half those gains given up by mid-afternoon, and slight runs into the close, followed by spurts again the next day, etc., for a week plus. New MMs this time around, I believe, it'll be interesting to see if any patterns develop...
