Thanks Walsham ,I forgot about this release. With everyone announcing their intentions , I would expect that we should see some contracts with MCF very soon. (Either directly or
indirectly)

The Wall St. Journal reports in its Wednesday
edition that General Motors Corp. president and
chief operating officer G. Richard Wagoner Jr. says
he is trying to harness the potential of the Internet
with the formation of a new business unit, called
e-GM. The Internet unit, run by controversial
small-car executive Mark Hogan, will direct all of
GM's cyberspace ventures. The ventures range from
e-commerce sites to the testing of a "Web car" next
month to the more theoretical idea of using the
Internet on the factory floor to deliver cheaper, more
customized vehicles to customers in less than 10
days. GM predicts it could garner about $5-billion in
revenue over the next five years from the businesses
the e-GM unit oversees. All of its traditional rivals,
such as Toyota Motor Corp., which already has
announced it will be able to get a car to consumers in
10 to 12 days, are racing to build up their Internet
capabilities. DaimlerChrysler AG announced
Tuesday that it was teaming up with Organic Inc., an
on-line business building company, to beef up the
Internet presence of the company's U.S. brands.
Ford Motor Co. is expected to announce soon its
plans to better co-ordinate its electronic business
ventures.
