TI also has a strong DSL patent portfolio that includes patents which are believed to be essential for meeting the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) T1.413 ADSL standard and International Telecommunications Union (ITU) G.992.2 G.lite and G.992.1 full-rate ADSL standards, and patents that enable the development of low-cost, high performance DSL products.

So TI has their hand in the AWRE g.lite money till. Some of dem awre posters should take note...
