I described the Sun-Ray and smart-card system to my wife this weekend, when she asked me why was Sun doing so well. The next thing she said was: "Oh, that's nice. Wouldn't it be great if I could walk up to any computer anywhere and put my smart-card in and get all my data.". I don't think the smart card thing is that profound (it does look cute though:-). The product that my team put together does practically everything the Sun-Ray and smart card combo does for much less up front investment for the end user. Your wife could get all of her data right now just by signing up to the site.
