I have no idea why they didn't mention blodgett's bombshell. They covered everything he said before. With CNBC now owning part of an ECN, their motives are suspect, though.

My guess is that Blodgett got a lot of heat after the LA times article, and his bosses want to act as if he never said it. A few phone calls to CNBC could easily ensure it was never mentioned on the air. Their advertising and ECN relationships make unbiased reporting an impossibility.
