This is precisely the point: selecting stocks for a watchlist is the most difficult job in the world. For me, I make my own list and narrow down to 1 or 2 stock(s) up to the time of buying.

When you make selection for the watchlist, the list has to be done the nite before: there are so many parameters to go thru ... no
doubt we see you are up to the early morning with your posts.

..not all IPOs are created equal, as I discovered with DGIN..saw @27 it was headed higher, went to 32+ in 20 minutes...held, because this one caters to my business clients (banks/credit unions)..and I personally feel this will be a hi-flyer in months to come, but with the inevitable bumps along the way....
