Sam wants to stick with the subject of making money, and leaving the theatrics to the actors...

And yes, rely on one's broker, guru, television analyst, CNBC?...whether right or wrong, depends if it works for individual. in general, there is no difference who's calling the shot, although one may have significant influence over another. Many have had great luck with Tim's picks, those that haven't will will be in search for another messiah.

Let's get back to stockpicking. If Tim has a bone to throw our way, let's hear it, evaluate it, and make our own decisions.

I am not interested in attacking Tim, or defending Tim. I read and post on the thread because it increases my ability to stay aware of what is happening in the market with a stock or stocks I might wish to trade. I neither particularly like or dislike Tim and only occasionally feel the need to post to or about Tim. Such occasions are usually designed to get Tim to settle down and get the thread and him back on track which is focusing on the market and stocks. I think Tim is a fairly good stock picker actually, who allows his personality to propel him into far too many verbal clashes over stock picks. My other stated observations are my opinion and still stand as valid by my own personal standards. I am not interested in anything but the market, making money, and communicating with a few freinds who I have made on the thread. Even my posts occasionally generate response and counter response about Tim Luke and his picks, personality, fan clubs, etc. and I reget the distraction from what should be the focus here, the market. I would hope that the majority of the members of the thread have the same interest and see my position even if they dont endorse it.
