Tom & Doug:

I think you are correct, Tom, in your hypothesis that ACTL is looking to acquire the company on the cheap. By steadily acquiring shares, ACTL is gaining controlling interest in GATE without paying the premium typically associated with acquiring controlling shares. ACTL's goal appears to minimize the aggregate premium it will have to pay shareholders unwilling to sell their shares in the open market at these "market" prices.

If the foregoing hypothesis is true, we should soon see the price of GATE rise as the supply of willing sellers at these levels dries up, & as speculative interests acquire shares with the hope of riding the GATE wave until it crests when the tender offer is announced.

Maybe we are witnessing the beginning of a victorious end. The question I ask what pitfalls lie ahead? This stock has disappointed so many times before.
