LOL! Don't get your panties in a wad Brad...was sort of yanking your chain. But think about it from this perspective...Say you were a big holder and wanting to jump start the stock of a very low float company that your owned a ton of shares in. One way is to put out a big order to buy. When the MM's see it and they know the stock is at the bottom they will usually up the bid/ask so that you don't get any and they do. Then you up your price and force them to fill you or take it up. They fill you for the required amount of shares (500) and take it up again. You do the same as others see what it happening and then jump on themselves...you have spawned a rally. BUT...if the big boy puts out an order to buy 10,000 shares at $3...and the MM's fill him and don't move the price a penny...they have more stock than you thought or have access to plenty.

Question...where is the stock coming from? Who is selling 10,000 shares at $3?
