No, it's the whole deal. In German the word is "ornament, decoration". First time I heard it in a Yiddish/English context I had a tough time grasping that it was a pejorative.

According to the online Webster Dictionary, it is Yiddish for penis.

What's funny about it to me, is I heard the word growing up, usually some late night comedian...lines like...."the guy's a real schmuck" or "Don't be a schmuck" and I just interpreted contextually to mean something like the guy's a real doofus or jerk or something like that. So all these years I've been calling my girlfriends penises. Interesting nobody ever called me on it.
