Haim, Re: "Benchmarks" I think SPEC is a fair indicator. I exepct specInt to be close but not specFP. I would be shocked if Coppermine doesn't win a few benchmarks - if it wins the majority I would alsobe shocked as well - but good for Intels engineers. AMD is shipping 700Mhz today - you can order a machine if you wish. Forbes today metioned 750 later this month and 800Mhz in november. If Intel does better than this thats great too- I would say kudos to intels design team. And then the race will move early next year to what Athlon performance will be with integrated cache and maybe ddr266. I certainly am looking forward to tomorrow. regards, Kash
