<TA> on bonds and interest rates

30yr Treasury Bond yield is showing late top behavior.. an uptrend in rates was broken in mid-August.. note the coincident strong rally in techs at that time.. longbond yield dropped from 6.25% to under 5.9%.. might sound like much, but that is enough to triple your money in TB futures

since August we are showing a flatzone with yield between those established extreme limits just mentioned.. declines in bonds cannot seem to raise rates up to 6.2%.. it appears we have a possible failed top in the last week as 6.2% could not be reached.. meanwhile, relative strength is weak, with strong June peak followed by weaker August peak followed by feeble October peak so far

we may be seeing a failure in rates.. they just cannot rise much as bonds just cannot sell off much more.. the money in bonds might be on the ownership side

I see rates heading in the next 6-8 weeks back to between 5.6% and 5.8%

dont let the gold rally fool you.. that is pure short cover rallying gone haywire.. it is supply/demand based, with European central banks announcing no more depletion sales.. the futures pits are having a ton of fun crushing shorts.. sure, some price increases in basic commodities, but not translated into CPI or PPI much to speak of

a bond rally coupled with a dollar rally would do wonders supporting a tech rally and stock rally generally

neck out in the tree
