Carl: Re: "I hope you weren't caught short in today's market. It was a nice day to be long...."

Yes, it sure was. No, I was not caught short as I have been trading without conviction. I am trying to act like the market. I have not been greedy. I day traded NVLS short in the morning and then sat out the rest of the day with no trades short or long. I am not looking for a sustained move in any direction now with the earthquake being better understood although the risk is to the downside IMO. I have decided to trade the short side as a hedge to my long positions. I did not go long this morning in this sector and did not participate in the move up except in my long term positions. I did throw out a few selected short lines in the last hour of the trading day.
