No DSL, no cable modems - I'm surprised you're lucky enough to get all those analog lines. Sorry to hear about the AOL fans, I'm glad I never used it more than three hours before going straight 'net.

It's funny how about everything on AOL's little "ring of servers" can be found elsewhere or usually even be accessed from an outside ISP. My last girlfriend had AOL and the last thing I wanted to fight while trying to grab a quick stock quote was those stupid "Buy This" ads that pop up at first, the more often than not wait to actually get out to the "real" internet and later on having to listen to her moan about all the junk mail she was getting, the unsolicited pornography mail that came out of nowhere later, fixing her PC many times after it crashed due to one of AOL's "automatic upgrades" and finally weaning her off it when the hackers found out they could push into your PC while you were online.
