If my memory serves me right, the Athlon numbers we have so far are from Intel's compiled code using PIII optimizations. Ah, the advantages of having deep coffers. <And with CamiNo-Go still uncertain, Intel has to rely on the i810E - the chipset running with an anchor tied behind its back.> Yup, I am keenly aware of that situation. All across the industry, marketing guys and management love to compare their own pre-production platforms with competitions production platforms. But, I have been in this industry long enough to only compare shipping material. Chuck
