OT George, I agree re gold. But Y2K is likely the reason for the increase demand over 1999 for gold/silver coins. The mint can't keep up. Plus rare coins, like the $20 gold piece, have held value very nicely (and even increased) even when gold was in the mid-200's (a week or so ago!).

This morning Gold is up $18 to $336...my oh my.
