Me, too. It's hard to see where the up side on this news would come from, given that 60-70 percent of analysts are saying that the Fed will keep rates steady and retain its neutral bias. A lot of optimism is already built in. I personally think the Fed will install a tightening bias. Although the Fed hasn't telegraphed a move, I actually believe there is still a slight chance we'll see a rate hike today. Moving in November will be tough, because of Y2K, and next year is election time, which also would be a hard time to raise rates. The Fed's going to need to raise again sometime, but the calendar looks pretty tough.
