Hi croc, sorry I didn't get back to you earlier.

I never thought of hanging them on the vine. That's what I should have tried. Next year, promise.

We got another frost here last night. At the lake shore, I guess it only went down to 38. but about 5 miles away, as the crow flies, my mercury said 28 this a.m.

Now the sun is strong, and I can see the flowers drying off almost as I type. Birds seem to be very active this morning too. I have a bunch of chestnuts I leave on one patio table for the Blue Jays(even though I hate them). They been coming down two three at a time, and not even paying me any attention.

All the other birds are scrambling amongst the berry trees too. I think I seen more cardnals this morning than in the past two months.

Okay, enough rambling for me.

BTW, how much fried green tomatoes can one eat?<G>
