Nokia Has Problems Delivering Cellular Internet Phone: Paper

Helsinki, Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Finland's Nokia Oyj, the world's largest cellular phone maker, is having
difficulties getting its 7110 series cellular phone into distribution, the newspaper Taloussanomat reported, citing
Finnish cellular phone retailers. Most retailers, including the largest Finnish cellular phone retailers, have only
received a few of the phones that are based on the Wireless Application Protocol, or WAP, which enables
users to view Internet content through the small screen, even though demand for the product has been strong.
One retailer said that whenever Nokia introduces a new product, availability is initially a problem.

Sweden's Ericsson AB, the world's third-largest cellular phone maker, will put its WAP compatible R320 phone
on store shelves early next year, making it the second Internet phone available for masses.
