Doug, I thought you were referring to the earth scorching done for security in the buffer zone of the Bentiu Oilfield. Up till now, I thought the fighting was between NIF and SPLA with civilians suffering from food, medical,etc shortages. If there is evidence to support stories like the one posted at #492 I'm sure we'll see some UN action soon. Actually, IMHO, I think that if it weren't for TLM's involvement in Sudan there would be very little publicity on this unfortunate situation. People like the Farrakhanites have proven their ability to keep a lid on this for years. Take care, Ed
