"Right click on the user's name to which you want to send the pmail, and select
"Open in new window" from the mouse menu."

hey, that's nice. it just never dawned on me to right click on the member's name, and i
constantly right click everywhere else. <g3>

thanks for the good tip.

Wow, V, really neat stuff there. I've never known about any of these things. I'm getting so computer literate, that I can't stand myself. You've taught me things, that I never would have even thought to ask! Way to go "Oh Great One." LOL
Now I'd like to transfer this to my PM, so that I can file this information. Can you tell me how to do that? TIA

V on the mac I can "hold down" my single button and 1. open a new window that shows the person's profile, then 2. I can do the same (hold down) for send a pm and 3. write pm and next window is edit and send. Then instead of back arrowing 5 times I have the personal profile window still open so I have to close that out and then there I am back...so thats better...the other option is to only hold down for when you are on the second step (send a pm) but that also leaves the personal profile page up and in this method the thread window is not behind it but rather a back arrow away...either way is better but not perfect... this might not be that much of an issue if this is only a mac problem.... but as it seems the recent comments by sandintoes and mr mark (PC people) might indicate this is not a straight forward thing even on a pc...my idea for "send pm" might therefore still have merit.
