Russett...Good to hear from you. Not picking on anybody (except Syncrude) Just revisiting the emotional battle that must be overcome when investing at the bottom. It reminds me of the timeless truth "sow in tears, reap in joy". It takes guts to invest contrary to the vast majority sentiment as exemplified by Syncrude's #779 (oversupply, and gold is no longer a refuge in times of crisis).https://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=10101902 My fundamental reply remains the same. Message 10108563 The fact that our "sandworm" GRE is coming to life is fortunate but not lucky. Message 10112255 Please note that after my 50,000 share speculation example at .125 US the stock dropped over 50% at one point. Did I jump in there with bids at .05, heck no. Liquidation, and a complete blowout for shareholders was a breath away. But, somebody was buying down there and they are really smelling the roses at this point. This points out the extreem leverage in the GRE play. Few juniors can match the resource base and current production ability of Greenstone. Yet, companies with more favorable debt structures already bit the dust! The unbelievable level of debt threatened equity owners with the "big non-ya". The exciteing thing about this is the excellent potential from here. The very factor that threatened our existence (debt) is the same factor that creates leverage for stockholdrs. A sustained rise in the POG has the potential to make the 100 mil in bond obligations look like chicken feed. Not only that, but the level of reserves stands to increase significantly as well. At current prices this company has the potential to be a real "long ball home run!" Of course, time will tell. I have no illusions about the potential for declining gold prices after the shorts cover or croak. But it seems to me that strong fundamentals supressed for years through manipulation will prevail. Especially, if we experience some now unforseen crisis. In the event of an unforseen crisis, people like Syncrude will be as hard to find as a fully intact skeleton of a t. rex! Best wishes for your PM portfolio! EZ
