StockHawk, I don't have an informed opinion of the combined entity, but I think you're possibly missing an important point with regard to the price of the stock. I think if a few days ago someone predicted that we could get an end to the litigation problem and an opportunity to buy at around $70 few would have believed it. A few days ago, when referring to that $70 stock you would have been referring to a market cap of roughly (not remembering excatly the number of shares outstanding) $7 billion for ALL of Gemstar. When referring to the same $70 price today, we're really talking about $14 billion for the combined company. Without understanding the good, the bad and the ugly that comes with the territory of the extra $7 billion, thinking of a $70 stock out of context can be very misleading for the better or the worse. It's up to us to decide whether it's better or worse, something I really haven't taken the time to do. --Mike Buckley
