Somewhat OT - Not I. Sometimes I will use margin, but I took a look at the market a few months ago, and started raising cash. Biggest positions in tech infrastructure, e.g., JDSU, VTSS, BRCM, etc. In the patch, the big "EnPs" look to me to be no-brainers right now.

Slider,

PTEN's been a point and a quarter higher since we talked, and now it's 2 plus points lower. I hope you're buying some now, because this low doesn't count if you don't get in, just like the high of 16.75 doesn't count unless you sell. It's a volatile stock, as I've always known. The fundamental growth in PTEN's EBITDA surpass most in the patch, and they will surprise to the upside on earnings day. PTEN is on sale today given the known rig count etc., which weren't known the last time PTEN was below 14.

It's certainly caught in the swell of the HAL. The OSX has justifiably been sold off. Hopefully it's hit resistance and will bounce back based on the forward looking Boom 2000. Maybe not today, who knows.

No I'm not on margin, but I'm considering it today!

Richard
