They have had enough time to "work" the books -- would have like to see the earnings 3 weeks ago

Since they are on a fiscal calendar, I believe quarter end and fiscal year end was Sept 2. It doesn't seem unusual that it takes 4 weeks to close the books, particularly at year end because you have to go through the audits. Am I off base here?
