Or when Clinton claimed that black churches were burned in Arkansas when he was growing up and how it had made him sick.

Reporters checked - there were no black church burnings in Arkansas during that period - none. Had Clinton lied, made it up or misremembered?

Or when Hillary went to New Zealand and claimed that she was named after famous Kiwi Sir Edmund Hillary - even though the media soon revealed Sir Hillary had been an unknown beekeeper when Hillary Rodham was born. Everest came years later.

Hillary was laughed out of town.

I remember Gore saying he created the internet - it helped reinforce my opinion that almost all politicians are fabulators.

It's fun for you because you don't have 17 (seventeen) unanswered feelies posts waiting in your inbox, after having wasted most of two days on this subject!

I'm through for tonight because I have to leave soon and won't get back until late tonight. Tomorrow I dare say there will be more. I may give up in favor of life.

So you don't accept that Reagan was implying that he'd been away from his wife, at war, "in common with several million other veterans," when he made this statement:

"By the time I got out of the army Air Corps, all I wanted to do -- in common with several million other veterans -- was to rest up awhile, make love to my wife, and come up refreshed..."

You actually think he couldn't make love to his wife while they were living together in Hollywood? You don't think this is insulting to those who COULDN'T make love to their wives during their war service, because they weren't exactly sharing a nice apartment? To me, it is disgusting.

I suppose you'll say he meant he couldn't make love to her while he was at the office, and was too pooped when he got home. In common with millions of other veterans.

You didn't give the rationale for the concentration camp photographer story, though I'm sure there is one.

<<<Remember Clinton's anecdote about being there when Rosa Parks refused to go to the back of the bus?>>>

Clinton is delusional or he's a liar. I'm willing to answer that question very simply and directly. Clinton is a liar. A dyed-in-the-wool, sociopathic liar, imo.

To Reagan on the other hand, I give the benefit of the doubt. I think he would pass a lie detector test on matters such as being deprived of making love to his wife during the war "in common with millions of other veterans", as being there at the liberating of a concentration camp, as seeing that black soldier at Pearl Harbor where he wasn't present (the one who caused the prompt desegregation of the armed services which didn't happen for three more years.)

So I'd say Clinton is a liar, Reagan is delusional. What do you say?

I'm off now. Bye.
