I was not surprised but expected the market to sell off. I held every stock overnight and I don't usually keep that many especially in one sector (chips). I had hot keys ready to sell all the stocks with one push of the button. That's why I bought YHOO today, but my idea was that even if there would have been no bias announcement, the market would have sold off. I expected Rally ----> selloff or selloff----> rally.. Since we had the rally in the morning I expected the sell off in the late afternoon. What surprised me was the bias announcement, I didn't think that was necessary. It's like reminding your children they'll be punished if they don't what they are told even while they aren't misbehaving. It goes without saying.. We didn't need that "bias" but the selloff was expected. I even had PVN ready and dusted off as my "FOMC trade of the day"..

Even held BAC for that reason, although I would have made more on it selling on Thursday. Tomorrow there will be the typical sigh of relief and we'll have more rallies.. I'm used to this. What I would like to know is how hard is it to come by shares of KANA andFDRY. I have a short list and its not on the list.. I need a change from NTOP, CMRC, RHAT and AGIL etc. If you got it and had fun I hope you got your profits out. This will be another rollercoaster like CMRC.
