I know QMCI is out of many people's price range ($3) but see this:

BELLEVUE, Wash., Sep 29, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- QuoteMedia.com Inc.
(OTC BB: QMCI) (the "Company") announces that it has closed the first
tranche ($700,000) of its equity offering.

The Company expects to close the second tranche ($700,000) by October
8, 1999.

QuoteMedia is a leading-edge software developer of financial content
engines, financial analytical tools, and on-line trading services,
which targets large web portals and select financial industry sectors.

"QuoteMedia will provide its customers with the most comprehensive,
user-friendly access to financial and stock market information
currently available on the web while also providing 100% turnkey
on-line trading capabilities," says Keith Guelpa, CEO.

"The Company believes if large portals offer best-of-breed services to
their users, these users will stay within their sites for much longer
periods of time as there is no need to go to other sites for financial
information, thereby creating user loyalty." Mr. Guelpa went on to say:
"Financial and stock market information is fast becoming one of the
main reasons for using the Internet. QuoteMedia intends to become a
leader in financial content engines, financial analytical tools, and
on-line trading services in order to exploit this exploding opportunity
on the web, thereby maximizing shareholder value."

The Company is currently negotiating with two large Portals to license
QuoteMedia's products, and expects to conclude these negotiations by
early October. Shareholders are cautioned that while these negotiations
are progressing, nothing has been finalized to date.

"This fall Internet users will experience what we believe is the
ULTIMATE FINANCIAL PORTAL(TM). QuoteMedia.com will provide users with a
wide array of comprehensive financial and stock market data, research,
and other topical media content all within their browser," says Keith
Guelpa, CEO. The list of content and features is extremely extensive,
and includes branded analytical tools & applications, sophisticated
charting modules, sophisticated on-line trading systems and more.
