James, just to interject a little comment. When you think about it we all as Americans have little right to be in North America. God never gave this land to us in an everlasting covenant. And in the eternal realm of things we all are on very shaky ground. Here by God's grace and not much more. As far as the eternal covenant where God gave the land of Palestine to the Hebrews you might say it goes back to the blessing or birthright that Esau gave to Jacob for a piece of meat. Jacob the surplanter and the deceiver. What God gave to him also had to be by grace for in my understanding he was not deserving of the eternal blessings that he received. Likewise , in Christ, we also are not deserving of the blessings we have in Christ. Being a Christian for 32 years I still scratch my head head in dis--belief for the blessings God has bestowed on me and my family......In Christ.gregor
