Don, the bond futures contract broke to a new low today...interestingly, highly speculative and extremely overvalued stocks were bought with great gusto. this suggests that the bond is still not instilling fear. my guess is it will in due time.

Don and all, another little detail worth pointing out to the thread is the fact that NYSE members have been net sellers for nine weeks in a row as per 09/17, which is the latest data available. it looks to me as though they are busy trying to set a fresh record here.<g>
note that they have been buyers during virtually all the dips this bull market has experienced, most notably the one last year, during which they bought heavily. this latest correction is the first into which i have seen them selling in a long time. apparently they don't have a yen for fighting the Fed.
