That was a brilliant idea

Well, I wish I was always so clever! But often I outsmart myself - today I unloaded ISSX after Uncle Al's, um, can I say it? -- "turd in the punchbowl" -- and it went up 2 points! $1,000 on the table! Duh!

Anyway, let me broach a sorta new topic -- telcomm fiber. Our thread has been more or less preoccupied with semis & equip, to much advantage to many. I've made some good $$$ from TXCC, GALT, VTSS, TER, and hopefully AMCC.

Anyway, the level of activity is picking up in telco with the proposed WCOM/FON getogether. There has been speculation that the fiber infrastructure companies may be next to be acquired by the Bell's or others. I'm curious on the threads views on the following (I've shown the IBD ratings as per a previous post; Zack's recco last entry)

QWST 77, 41, C, C, A, B, Buy (I'm interested)
LVLT 76, 03, C, E, B, C, Hold
MFNX 89, 25, C, C, C, C, S. Buy (I'm long)
WCII 75, 08, C,NA, C, D, Hold (I'm interested)
GBLX 71, 47, C, C, C, B, Sell (I'm long & will add on dips)
WMB 66, 20, C, E, D, C, Sell

These stocks are well off highs because of their capital intensity and interest rates. Buying opportunity?
