Thanks for the GREAT pointer John ... there are some profound
points in these conference materials as you say.

Thinking about the "Starting List of Issues" ... I'm struck by
how clearly so many elements of the battery business model(s)
are undergoing flux and change.

I reflect on delayed VLNC expectations in this light. It's no
wonder that execution has limped behind planning ... the VLNC
business model has not specifically embraced these changes in
totality ... but rather as a learning process.

IOW ... the VLNC business model is tracking ... not leading ...
the overall battery world's evolving reality.

IOW, IOW ... no communications from VLNC that I have seen addresses
the plurality of issues AROUND the cell ... these issues "are left
as an exercise for the OEM" ... and no wonder things are delayed
as OEMs struggle with these issues.

Time for a quantum leap in business model.

Time to offer OEMs something more along the lines of "energy
solutions" instead of "cool cells" ... such a paradigm would have
a lot of process involved, of course ... but never-the-less, leaving
the OEMs to answer these questions is too passive for my liking.

We need some disruptive thinking from VLNC.

And some POs.

Grins,

Jay
